A firm today wouldn’t exist without its website. Even in sectors where a web presence might not initially seem vital, customers have come to demand the ease of internet access. Even mom-and-pop businesses, like barbers and farmers, require websites.
The good news is that websites are now simpler to construct as they have become more important. Hundreds of thousands of websites will be built this year, many of them by business owners. Nowadays, anyone can make a website, unlike in the past when web developers were essential in HTML and PHP (web coding languages). Likewise, you can!
Although the first step is most likely the hardest, you can do it without a computer. Thinking about the design of your website is the first thing you should do. Before you invest a lot of time creating something outside your Company, you should probably establish what purpose your website will serve.
It’s time to devise a straightforward strategy to design your website so that it satisfies those requirements once you’ve decided what your website performs.
Let’s consider a specific illustration. Let’s imagine we own a Company that sends freshly made cookies to customers throughout Ottawa. What functions do you want our website to have? A place where individuals may order our cookies from their computers or phones might be a useful feature for a website with that purpose. I think customers would appreciate not having to phone to order any of our delectable white chocolate macadamia goodies, which is a terrific use for our website.
You may build the remaining pages around the principal function once you have it (in our example, cookie ordering). Try WordPress if you’re just starting because it’s typically thought to be the better of the two mentioned above.
With WordPress, you may choose from various free themes, many of which are good. If you can’t find a free theme that works for your website, you may either pay for a premium theme or customize an existing theme to meet your demands.
There are companies like Templatic where you may get premium themes. In rare circumstances, you can even hire a group of experts to work on your design.
However, you may encounter some difficulties if you choose the free route. Themes may be changed by knowing some coding (yuck!). Imagine it like a kitchen renovation. Do not forget to choose a free theme if you can locate one that suits your needs.

An acquaintance knowledgeable about the code might be able to assist you. Just in case things in the house get a little tense, you know.

Find a pricing plan that suits your needs. You’re likely looking at an annual investment of around $50 for a small firm. That is not a big deal in the overall scheme of operating a firm. In a month, you’ll probably spend more on cookie trays!
